Colour therapy uses the wavelengths and frequencies of colours of the visible spectrum. As human beings we need colour to maintain health and well being. Colour, and the effects of colour on the mind affect us in many different ways, it has the ability to alter our moods and can even affect our appetites. Most of the time we take colour for granted yet it has a powerful influence in our lives. Plants cannot grow without light, and humans suffer from depression more in the wintertime when the day light hours are less.
